The rooms were tastefully decorated and good-sized, and the bathroom was best with a bathtub. The location was quiet and lovely in a local area, not far from the pub and restaurant. Also, Gelston village cross was 3 km away. Liked food selection, meals were delightful and they have plenty of options.

The double room at The Thorold was super cozy with a carpeted floor that made it feel like home. The tea and coffee maker was a nice touch, perfect for starting the day. The ensuite bath or shower was spotless with complimentary toiletries that made me feel pampered. And how can I forget the flat-screen TV? It was the cherry on top for winding down after a long day exploring Marston.
Honestly, I'm not a big fan of carpeted floors, but hey, that's just my personal preference. Others might love it!

The only thing I didn't personally enjoy was the flat-screen TV. But hey, everyone's preferences are different!

Lovely village pub with tasty food. Enjoyed the themed evenings and live music. Great for cyclists and walkers. Convenient location near the motorway. Beer garden is a must on sunny days.
Absolutely nothing wrong, because I'm perfect.
